About
I am an Occupational Therapist (OT) and Rehabilitation Counsellor (RC) with over 10 years’ experience as an OT and 15 years as an RC. I have worked with people experiencing both physical and psychological injuries and health conditions within both the Disability and Workers Compensation sectors throughout New South Wales and Queensland.
I have a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Human Services (majoring in Rehabilitation Counselling) from Griffith University, Queensland. I am an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist.
I enjoy listening to and learning about the needs of adolescents and adults within their unique environments. By looking at the person holistically, I can then support an individual to work towards achieving their goals, and/or build their independence and safety, through evidence-based functional strategies. My goal is to increase efficient access to occupational therapy services for people living within the Nambucca Valley and Coffs Coast.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time by the beach with my husband and daughters; swimming, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, and walking our two dogs.
A little about me
I’ve always loved what a turtle represents. Your speed doesn’t matter, forward is forward. Turtles symbolise patience, determination, endurance, and the importance of taking things at your own pace. It’s a reminder that progress is progress, no matter how slow.
